Default 6.0 Powerstroke more problems

Well my work truck is down again, this time..... Dead #3 injector, bad ICP sensor and the variable turbo vains are sticking.. I am really starting to dislike this powerstroke. My old 7.3 had no problems.

Hahah welcome to the wonderful world of Powerchokes....

We had 2 company F350 Duallys..... 02or03 (first year run) and 05...
the older one we finally was able to get 110k mile out of it before it was traded in..

the 05 only got 65k miles on it... they had to replace all kinds of crap on it...

I hate them!!! Plain and simple... and they suck at pullin a load.. and got horrible mileage.

We do have a 02 Excursion 7.3 it runs great... suspension aint worth a flip though...

Mine has 123K on it, I guess the motor was replaced at around 50k but I dont know someone else had it at that time. Its in great shape and actually runs good for the weight(15k) Its a F450. Problem is it just keeps breaking haha.

I think the powerstrokes are a hit and a miss. i have had mine for almost 2 years and put 50k hard miles on it and i havn't had a problem. my buddy has had his for the same about of time and now has almost 90k miles on his and he hasn't had 1 problem. I am on a psd forum and you either have alot of problems or none. I just got thru pulling a 10klb trailer from south texas to virginia 1400 miles and it was great. ran 75-80 and got 12.5mpg which i thought was great.
