im in need of a wiring diagram for a 2001 F250 powerstroke or someone that could tell me if and where there is an inline fuse in the wire coming from the alternator? checked all fuses in the fuse box on the drivers side behind airfilter box and there all ok. any other fuses or fuse boxes to check?

long story short a battery charger got left on it on high and boiled the batteries out so they got replaced and now the alternator isnt charging... otherwise the pickup does run.

i think it just needs a new alternator but my dad is dead set on it being a fuse blown out somewhere

 

I would check to see if your alt is putting out 13 to 14.5 volts, you need a volt meter that does dc volts that will tell you if the alt is good or bad but havent seen a fuse on the main charge system but that doesnt mean theirs not one. Could be a inline fuse also, but if you eliminate the alt then you know your problem is else where.
