have the nitrous express plate kit in the mail and on the way. will be installed on a 2008 4.8 silverado, stock motor, only mods are magnaflow exhaust, no cats, and CAI. how big of a shot can i SAFELY run? plugs will be changed to TR6's and it will be tuned for the nitrous. appreciate the help!

 

I did a 250 shot on a stock 4.8 with a good fuel pump and good tune. Its still running and that was 3 years ago
Who is tuning it?

 

It'll be tuned locally down where I'm from, by a guy who tunes every GM down in this area... He's got an 8 second gmc 5.3... So I'd say he knows his stuff haha

 

So its goin to depend on your fuel pump now. if it will keep up you will be good for a big shot if the tune and fuel are good. Bye Bye transmission

my truck before the turbo went a 15.2.. with a 150 shot it went a 13.1..
