Here's my thinking...
If I (ever) wanted to up the shot I'm sure the stress is would just implode my driveline but what if I went to say, a 100-shot progressively or in 2 50-shot stages?
How does each one work with shifts?
This is just for personal educational purposes only

You'd have to get a window switch to shut it off at the shifts or high rpm if you care. The progressive or 2 stage will still be the same on the shift, just a different place. You know? If you go with progressive at some point there will a 50hp shot on a shift, a 75hp on a shift, a 100hp on a shift...you know what I mean? It is all in how you set it up.
If you stage it...same deal...50hp on 1st gear and maybe second and then 100 shot on 3rd, 4th, see?
I bought a progressive (btw, hard on the noids...keep an eye on noids going bad) and I ran 11.6 with 100 pill in and the progressive max set to 75% in 5 seconds. With current set up. Good news was the first gear shifted correctly (I always hit the rev limiter no matter how high i set it) but I lost a lot of "get that huge hunk of steel out of the hole power". Unless I launch on a 75shot I cannot get better than a 1.76 60'. And if you are searching for low 11's...that 60' is an essential part of this for you.
Sooooooo, get into second gear and hit that bitch with 100hp shot! That TVS will hum like a screaming banshee once you pass that 1/8th!

I have a dual digital widow switch in place. I asked about both systems just because the abuse the noids go through with the progressive and was wondering if a 2-stage would give me the same end result without the worry.
this is all research for future reference. I have neither the time or money to change my setup before Oct.10th.

im in the same situation but doing what research i did the progressive is better and cheaper in the long run. i wouldnt worry bout the noids to much you can always get them rebuilt. And like blackgmc siad its easier on the drivetrain. but everyone has there own ways.

as far as the 2 stage as long as your window stage has a gear lock out feature you can have the second stage come on at a given gear and rpm and still not spray thru the shifts. but isnt there someone that has a window switch/progressive controller built together?
