an LS6 or similar upgrade will be better for you but the vic Jr and plate would be a very nice looking combo if someone wanted to run one.

I agree with the guys above about this intake set up not being the best for your application. You will loose the bottom end torque you need to get that truck moving. This intake bennifits the guys twisting there motors up in the rpm range of 7000 pluss and needing a great amount of flow.

As far as the plates. We use the NX gemini twin plate or put spray bars in the intake. Here is an example with spray bars

Noone is laughin man. Were all just givning you opinions. Nobody actually knows wether or not the vic jr. will kill the torque on your smaller cube, no stall, 3.23 geared ext cab. It is just VERY likely.

Oh theres no doubt in my mind that it would kill my torque on stock stall and gears(if it could get any worse ) But what about after the TT3000 and 4.10's?

I would like to see it on a 5.3 with the right stall and gears. I would try it defintley, but I would get 4.10's and a 3600ish converter.

Off the top of my head the Edelbrock Victor JR with fuel rails sales for around 400 maybe alittle less. Then the elbow will run around 275.00
