On/Off window switch
#1
I am running a msd digital window switch, What would be the idea RPM's to bring the nitrous on and off?....just somewhere to start...peak HP was around 5500rpm's...also were should i set my shift points....

I have my timing tuner on at 2750 and off at 5900 (thats as low as I can set it on the upper limit). Someone said I could turn it on earlier, because I have my stock torque converter. BTW do you shift your truck manually, or let the it shift on its own? I would set the upper limit a little above the shift points, and under your stock rev. limit. You can turn it on as early as you want, but be careful not to cause a backfire.

I'd set it a few hundred before you shift, say if you shift @ 6100, set the off RPM for 5900~...unless you want to spray thru your shifts. On stick shifts it's a good idea to set it a few hundred after your shift point, so if you miss a gear you don't have an expensive problem. For on RPM, I've always heard 3000 is a good safe RPM to begin, but some spray lower.

I have mine set @ 3000 on 6000 off if i go lower on the turn on it will not shut off fast enough and the truck wants to die out on the other end but on my take off i have a button that i push out of the hole and some ET streets im in a 2005 crewwcab and it runs 13.21@103 on a 150 wet shot.
