Its easy to do.. log it and see what its upshifting at MPH and RPM wise.

Adjust the down shifts to the MPH and subtract some.. say 8-10mph..
Set the T/H part throttle upshifts to that MPH..
That way when you hit the button, it drops into the lowest gear it can and still upshifts at the rpm you want.
usualy with more power it kinda takes longer to shift so i bumped mine down 400rpm on the 150 shot and 200 on the 75 shot.

Lemme know if ya need help on the tuning.
if you tuner uses EFI live i can send him my current tune and he can see how i set it up.

hit the tow/haul button and its set, arm nitrous and hammer down.
It shifts out when its suppose to, which i always set mine up to shift earlier on nitrous if its a bigger shot.
i've been out of my truck for so long i forgot that was how wheatley had my tune set up. very convenient for downshifting without running 6k rpm. no worries of shifting the column late either

drop to the gear you want. hit it, shift manually from a roll.
It will wear your transmission quicker spraying threw shifts. It also runs the risk (even in a automatic) for the engine to bump a fuel cut. This on nitrous can cause a nitrous back fire. That why people advise against it.

That being said, a ton of people spray threw the shift with no problems but with anything it runs some risk.

ive heard the spraying thru the shift is bad... how about the guys running 10-20psi boost and running it thru the shifts?

Ive always wondered that.. and without a progressive the nitrous hit after ever shift cant be good either.

So i spray at full boost thru the shifts

i'm not advising to not have an upper rpm window...but cutting the window before the shift rpm is no different that keeping torque management to me.

here is how i set mine up. 6900 rpm shift point. 7,200 nitrous cut off (upper window), 7,500 engine rev limit. i never used low side windows because my converters were loose enough.

if you miss a shift and nail the limiter at 7,500 it's all good because your nitrous shut down at 7200k. if everything works like it is supposed to you were supposed to shift at 6800 anyways.

to me, it falls into the same category as a turbo or blower setup. 99% of the people out there do not lift at the shift on either of those setups.

A 60e behind anything with 20psi isn't going to go well. lol

Yeah you should be good. With the nitrous cutting off before the fuel cut. That is the whole point of the window switch cut off.
