Default Nitrous for Avalanche

Anybody tried mounting a bottle in the Avalanche saddlebags (the boxes made into the rear quarter panels)? How small of a bottle is too small to be worthwhile?

I wouldnt use anything smaller then a 10 pound bottle. Can you not mount it anywhere in the cab? Maybe under the rear seats..? Itd be much better access imo..

You would only fit a 5bl bottle in that compartment, I honestly wouldn't bother with a small bottle. Like 2007chevy5.3l said, under the rear seat would probably be the best spot.

I was wanting to save the under seat space for amps and possibly a hidden rifle sling. And before anyone mentions behind the seat - I was saving that space for a JL Audio Stealthbox someday.

If you need to why not run two 5 lb bottles if they fit?

I have seem people put the bottle in the center concole.

If you plan to add 1000 lbs in stereo equipment why waist your time with the bottle? Maybe you have big plans for a killer motor under the hood but if you are staying fairly stock power wise, then seems very counter productive to start with a heavy *** truck, add a bunch of weight then add a 100 shot of nitrous.

Just some food for thought.
