Default New to Nitrous, need help!!!!!

Ok guys, I have a 2004 Z71 with a 5.3 and 3.73 gears. As far as engine mods I have a k&n 77 series intake, True dual 2 1/2" exhaust, MSD superconductor wires and a 93 octane Wheately tune. I want to spray a 100 hp shot. Will my injectors handle a dry 100 or should I get a wet kit. I won't be racing every week, I just want to beat the ocasional chiped diesel at the stop light, but the main reason is I want to pull this truck in the light classes at the pulls this summer. Again, I won't be doing this once a week, we're looking more at once or twice a month durring the summer. I know I'll have to get new plugs, I just want to know exactly what I need and what my engine can handle before I get started. Thanks for the help!

nothing, a stock motor can handle it just fine!
actually a guy at the track last week put in 150pills in his stock truck except for exhaust and ran some nice times with no problems...

i would recomend it, a tune alone is a great thing to do so you will benefit more from it.
but if you cant afford it at the moment i wouldnt worry about it.

1.5 to 2 hours to install i guess, theres not much there to do.

Basically a nitrous tune is just some retard in timing and sometimes more fuel

On a stock tune the timing is already low so there is no worry.
as for as fuel goes since its a wet kit the fuel is sprayed in with the nitrous so theres really no worry there as well.

I would get a FPSS (fuel pressure safety switch) though just incase your pump gives out you wont have to worry about leaning out your engine.

I've been looking at a cold fusion kit, have you heard anything good or bad about them. I'd like to stay under the $500 range for the kit.
