Well, I'm thinking about getting another bottle and hoses and hooking up a dual stage wet/dry. Thinking of having a 150 wet shot on a progressive then having another 50-100 dry on tap for a little extra. Have the first stage wet on a progressive and window about 3k-5.5k and off during shift, then have the little dry shot on a button and hit it when I need it. Maybe hit it top of 1st or mid second. Charlie tunes my truck and he is very good and he has had nitrous on his old truck so he's knowledgeable about nitrous and tunning for it. Probably on the street just use a 50 if I use the wet. Then maybe at the track, when I go for a PB, throw the 100 jet in and hit it up with 100 octane and get r done. I will have walbro pump in by then and also a wideband installed to keep an eye on it. Also, have 8.1 injectors so I think I will be allright as far as supplying fuel with the wet/dry mixed hits. The most I've heard on a stock internal was 225 shot on crazycutters4.8 ex.cab. What do yall think about my idea?

I already have the progressive 150 wet ready to rock, just thinking of adding the 50 or so dry shot be cause I have an extra solenoid.

i wa told that the lsx motors are not good to go over a 200 shot to many times because of the number of head bolts that is why i change my spray from 250 to a 200 shot.

Yeah, I may just have a 125-150 wet then an extra 50 horse on tap just in case to keep it at 200 total. I think it would be pretty fun to have the extra horse when I need it.

If i was going to do a wet/dry dual stage, I would have the dry stage come in first off the line and the wet stage come in around 4500 RPM's or so.

I thank one of the reason's why is you can spray dry n20 at a lower RPM without the risk of a nitrous backfire.

If I was in your shoes (2wd 5.3) I'd have a 100-125 wet progressively controlled off the line then top of 2nd have the 2nd stage, a 75 dry max, kick in.

Traction will be the deciding factor on how to set-up your controller and if you should add more on the 2nd stage and decrease shot on first.

Hell yeah, that's what I am talking about. You are cammed also, correct? I was between doing a cam swap and dual stage and the dual stage makes more sense to me. But my setup I plan to do sounds like it will be very similar to yours. How long do you think it will be before you get the dual stage up and running? I plan on trying mine out probably towards the end of Summer if everthing goes well. Good luck, keep us updated.
