this is just a question cause i'm bored at 5 in the morning but. how much bottle do you guys think a 5.3 .30 over with stock crank and rods, nitrous pistons, hellfire rings, all arp hardware 5.3 heads with some work and a 210/218 .551/.551 cam. say you ran direct port with stand alone fuel. anyone have any guesses as to what it would take before it went boom.

 

200 shot all day long with a nice set of plasma moly rings(dont know what hellfires are) and shouldbe fine. The stock crank is strong as hell and the rods are pretty strong with the arp bolts in them. Sprayed 35 bottles through my stock 5.3 with 17K miles on it with a 100 shot and it wasnt burnt up at all when I pulled it for the new motor.

 

hellfire rings are for when you want to go insane on the boost or bottle.

 

200 is doable, but I would go progressive to spread the torque out a bit. If you need help choosing a DP kit let me know. We have great EFI plug and play dp, no drilling/taping. Or we have regular nozzle type DP kits also, a price to fit every need and very high quality.
