Default just some ?'s

I was thinking about getting the HSW wet kit for my 2000 4.8 silverado with of course the purge and window switch and f/p safety switch and bottle heater and the ngk tr6's. I wan to run a 100 shot maybe a 125. I already have intake, exhaust, headers, and a diablo sport tuner. I was just wondering if there are any concerns that i should take note of before getting one, like timing issues and things of that nature and what is the difference between the lsx kit and the universal kit besides the 4AN to 1/16" NPT Fuel Rail Adapter Fitting? Probably a dumb question but I was jw. any help would be awesome

the diablo sport has probably added quite a bit of timing and leaned you out some so I would junk it and at least get a W4M mail order tune before you spray it... I have an HSW kit on my 5.3 spraying a 125 shot with auto heater, purge and BMN window switch on some NGK TR6 plugs (colder heat range) and I and Z06 DREAMING can vouch for the way this kit works. I have my fuel solenoid hooked directly onto the schrader valve on the fuel rail... its simple and very effective...
I love my HSW wet kit so far... I am sure you will be as well... hope this helps.

Like silver-mod-o already said the diablo sport more then likley added some timing. If you want to spray her try and see if you can just take the timing out of the tune. Another option might be to run some higher octane fuel in the system when you spray her if you don't want to get rid of the diablo sport tuning. The difference between the two kits are a few fittings and the jetting. For your vehicle I would suggest the LSX kit. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt

Nice, so you got the window switch hooked up. By chance do you have any picts of your install?

Not much, just send me some picts of the install. Anyone that has a HSW kit & has picts can be up there as well.
