all right my little 4.8, how much can a BONE stock 2004 4.8, with 81,000 on it take?

I got a Wet system, heater, purge, right now, am I missing anything else?

 

Keep the timing and fuel in check, smack it with 150 shot... Guys have ran 200 shots before...

 

My buddy is running a 125shot. Bone stock 4.8 110k miles, stock tune, stock trans cept a vette servo. Only thing for safety is tr6 plugs. It hauls ***!

Friend of mine has sprayed 200+ on a stock 4.8 a few years back and the truck is still riding around to this day.

 

i gassed 225 on a stock 4.8 in a 2000 silverado rcsb quite a few years back and probably put 25 to 30 bottles through it! i also sprayed 250 to a 4.8 that i swapped into a 86 silverado and i never had a problem with either one. i wouldnt recomend gassing yours that much but the little motor can definately handle the abuse. like said before just make sure your fuel and timing are in check and put 150 on it! you will break somethin else before the motor goes.

get tuned. I ran a 175 shot for several years on my 05 with no issues

 

I dont know how much until it blows...but if your going for maxing NO2 your tune needs to spot on...it might not blow but it will burn some nice holes in your pistons...
