Default How low can you spry a 50 shot?

I'm thinking of using a little spray to get the turbo spooled off the line on my truck. With the 4.8, my 60' suck cuz I can't get it to build much boost on the line. I don't really want to put a bigger stall in it, I have a DACCO reman TB stall in it now that flashes to about 22-2300 and I was thinking that if I could spray a 50 shot at 2300, it would spool the turbo and get my 60's down. Is it safe to spray that low, or would I be playing with fire? I would probably only spray for a second till the boost got up to 8 lbs. What do ya think?

I woudn't spray below 3000 rpms. It's a fireball waiting to happen. If your motor was built then maybe so...but not on stock internals no.
Why not get a Yank TT3000 or something?Very streetable and you will hit your boost no prob.Or a Fuddle?I think they have a kinda long wait right now though...
But really on the question at hand i would never spray below 3000 grand on that motor.

WOOps. I have a sprayed a 100 and 125 at 2700 but not at full percentage. Using a controller and spray about 40-50%.

I say a 50 shot at 2500rpms will be fine.

With my stock converter, I was using a 100-dry @ 1600-rpm and cut 1.8 60's using MT ET street radials. Put me down the 1/4 in 12.9 @ 106... -Full exhaust, tires, and a tune.

Maybe I will try it. EFILive is coming out with a new COS that will allow me to add fuel and adjust timing for the NOX, so I can spray a dry shot. With such a small shot and being dry, I would think it would be pretty safe.

Get a 2 step. You'd be surprised how much boost you could build at 2300rpm with the pedal to the floor.
