Help me get in the 6’s

Have you read the plugs on your nitrous setup?
If its just for one race, put that thing on some C116 or Nitrous123 and give it the big shot.
Ive sprayed 400 on a 5.3 and it took it but had to run some R5724-8 plugs gapped about .018" and straight C116 cause thats all i had at the time and we were in a rush. Started timing a little low and the jet spread kinda far out.. It took way more timing that i expected and had it running the smallest fuel jet in the box, the plugs looked great and it woke up.
Are you able to get on the kit soon as you leave?

You could take the roll pan off and save like 10 pounds lol
What about all your speakers? You could rip out the speakers and the head unit save some weight there.
Run open headers and get rid of the cat back perhaps would save some more weight.
I mean I'm going into nit picky **** here that basically won't do anything but I mean putting your truck on a diet may help you out a bit

I plan going up to bout 300 on 5.3 and 400+ on my 6.0 but that’s later, I’m running on 20 on 200 shot now base is 28. I thinking bout getting a stand alone tank for nitrous idk where to on that, been throwing around ideas, just don’t wanna spent almost 1000 bucks for it, when I can put one together for cheaper

Na make your own stand alone.. Ive done a few of them with a Walbro 255 inline pump and a simple regulator. That way you can fine tune the setup by changing the fuel pressure instead of jets.
The last one i cobbled together was one these tanks.
2 Quart Tank
Walbro 255 inline
this regulator

and some 1/2" NPT to 6an Fittings to tap into the tank.
It didnt look cool but it was enough for my buddy to win a race and we still running the Renegade Pro Nitrous extreme 123 fuel in it a few years later with no issues.
The only thing i added later was a pressure switch so it would disarm the kit if the pressure dropped.

The more I think, I’m always thinking how to make **** faster! I was thinking it was pretty cold the night I hit 7.13 pretty sure bottle pressure was down! It had to been high 40 or low 50’s that night! How do you wire up bottle bracket heater the one from nitrous outlet? I didn’t know they sale a kit or would have got it! I know for a fact my truck can and will run a 6 sec pass on a 200 shot! Everyone told I would never run what it does but does, it was my second pass ever at a track in my truck. Idk how to post the time slip or I would! It’s the most simple setup you have ask for! Brandon6.0 my tuner well we both tune it lol I tell him hey it need this it need that! Lol bottle pressure and suspension I think really is them problem? What y’all think, but y’all want a video that one on Facebook look up lsx performance, when we gas and as Silverado built 6.0 on a 250 shot

You need a pressure switch, gauge, heater, and a relay.
I usually set the heaters to go off at 900psi. It takes awhile to get the pressure dialed in sometimes.
Let the pressure switch be the signal to energize the relay.
You can also use a 2nd relay and wire it to a indicator light on the dash so you know when the pressure is good and your ready to spray.
