Its hard to shift fast with the NV3500, especially 2nd to 3rd. Fast high RPM 2nd to 3rd will screw up the synchros FAST.

what low dime said also rear bearing is out and the rear case half has to be changed to replace it. But a 4l80 swap is next on the list

I agree i used to be able to slam them good with the v6, but now...the n/a video shows about the fastest shift i can manage with it.

Well got everything but the window switch fixed. No knock so far...but afr is like 10.0 so i need to lean it out BAD.

So i dont remember the jet thats in it, but how much smaller of a fuel jet should i go to...how much does a .001 actually make?

Dustin

what are the current jet sizes?

Fuel jet 0.027"
Nitrous jet 0.051"

thats what my calculator says for a 100 shot with 60psi fuel and 1000psi nitrous.

IF its rich, you should either put a smaller fuel jet or larger nitrous jet to lean it out.

Well afr with the 100 shot was 9.98, so i used a calculator nonnie recomended, it said with the 33 fuel jet (which the plate kit recommends for the 100 shot) i needed the 150 hp shot jet. So i changed it out got he bottle pressure up to 1000 and went for it afr was like 10.2 but i was like wtf? so i let out and see the bottle pressure is like 700...so i guess im low on nitrous (this **** is a ******* hassle) So i guess a weak shot is causing the rich mixture. So before i call it quits im going to chill the bottle myself and have it filled and if i can get efilive to function right (AHHHHHHHH) I will see what a good strong 1000psi 150 shot feels like.

Well rant over, i am dissapointed.

^^^^^^^im going to fill the bottle 1 more time and go to the track, just to see what the 5 speed can do. Headers would have been a better investment.
