A new good solid kit done right will cost you a little under a grand.

I would buy this:
http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...cat=364&page=1

Ive installed a few of these kits and they come with everything you need to spray.

I have sprayed tons of bottles with just a NX kit wired to a push button for activation.

Only other things I would recommend is a bottle heater and purge.

buy a kit and throw it on. I have a nitrous express kit I can sell for $350. I can include a fpss and a little button panel for your arming switch, bottle heater and purge.

I did, safety stuff is mechanical and it has just as much of a chance in not working as you needing it in the first place.
I know some people sware by FPSS's and other means of "safety"
I would recomend it if you were spraying big shots 200+

I would recommend a wideband to keep an eye on your AFR.
A FP gauge is nice to have as well.

My definition of safety is upgrading the stock intank fuel pump with a Walbro.
Getting a nitrous filter to filter out any debris that may be inside the bottle that could stick a noid open.
Wiring it correctly with relays.
Spraying above 3k rpm
Upgrading spark plugs to NGK TR6's
Safe bottle pressure.

The more mechanical parts to a device= higher probability of failure IMO.

But hey, dont let me talk you out of the safety stuff. Trust me, I wanted the safest kit available when i first started out spraying as well. I then started to have issues with the "safety" equipment and removed it and never looked back.

everything is bone stock. I'm surprised my fuel pump hasn't gone out yet as it is. It's a 2000 with 145k on it. Also, I'm not sure if I have 19 or 24.7 injectors
