Can you use medical grade nitrous for a vehicle. My grandfather owns a welding shop and told me it was different grade nitrous. He might have been blowing smoke up my but, who knows.

I heard metical stuff is ok to inhale but the stuff you yous would kill you if you huffed it.

i believe the only difference in the medical stuff and what we use is the sulfur they put in it for the smell.

There is no advantage to medical grade vs. street use. The street stuff does have sulfur so you can not inhale it.

The only advantage to the medical grade is that it would not clog up your lines like the sulfur does in the street use one. But power for power there is no difference.

nitrous here is 3.00 a pound plus tax. there is another place in town that charges 3.25 a pound though.

Cheapest I have found in the Houston area so far is 3.50 a pound without going to a welding supply store. In alabama its 4 bucks a pound is the best that I ahve found in my area.
