Ive never put big nitrous shots on the dyno. But did a 400 shot on a 5.3 years ago in my buddys grudge car. It was a turd on motor. But watch out when he sprayed it haha.

Never tried anymore than 400 on a stock motor tho.
Nitrous is very violent if you don't progress it in.

I've got a Fbody here now with a 408ci that we put fogger on that is jetted for 400 and 150 on a plate.
thats gonna be the most radical nitrous setup I've ever messed with. So sorry for not being much help.

There's not much out there on big nitrous 5.3 stuff. I'm doing a pretty nice 5.3 build and wanna see how far we can push it with nitrous

Not sure how much the O.G. OKC boys sprayed but I know they used Nitrous. Just not sure about there combo's. A lot of them swaped to 6.0's or built stokers.

It's gonna be hard to ramp it up and make that much power off nitrous. It hits hard and breaks ****, progressive controller will help with big shots but you still have to use a lot of spray and that's going to be hard to control. Is it strictly track duty?

progressive or 2 stages will help parts live. I have a FJO 2 stage progressive controller that I'd be willing to sell.
