So you dont have to go to a specific shop, just a parts store can do it? There arent any "performance" shops where I live, so could a regular mechanic install the kit easily enough? About how much would it cost me?

 

it's $5/lb around here too but I only use a little at a time

free if you do it yourself its not that hard. took me like an hour and a half

 

Honestly, you can install it yourself with some common hand tools, depending on your mechanical aptitude and which kit you buy. Don't be suprised if a shop charges you 6-8 hours of labor to install.
