Default 2 stage thoughts

So I plan on heading to the track friday night and picked up a second set of NX solenoids cheap. Since I recently switched to a plate kit I hooked up my shark nozzel to these solenoids and was planning on hitting another 100 shot once I hit 2nd gear. Its tuned for the 200 and ive ran it for a year with no problems.

My current set up is in an 01 ecsb sierra 1500 with an lq4, NX 200 shot plate, microedge controller, tsp 224, 3k stall, 4.30's, and 4x4 launch.

I only plan on doing this once just for fun but am wondering what you guys think or if you have any tips. Also any ideas on what it might run in the 1/4?

So you want to hit it with 200 on the plate and 100 more on the nozzle? What plugs and fuel are you running?

I think some pistons will be making a clean exit from the block.

Better be pulling the timing way back.

That may be true. Which is why I wanted to see what you guys with experience thought about it. There is timing pulled for the 200 but dont trust myself enough to tune it yet so I couldnt say how much.

I figured I would watch the afr and let off if it was too lean. Additionally I have a 044 in tank and a fuel pressure safety switch incase it cant keep up.

Too much timing and lean are two different things. I would say you should hold off, if you do decide to do it be sure to film it and say a prayer for your motor.

You need c16 or better in a stand alone. Your going to have a bomb on your self, buy a timing retard it will help you out.

Well I decided to try adding a 50 shot at the 8th and picked up 2 mph from my previous run with a 200 shot.

Overall I was hoping to run faster but my best of the night was 12.51 @ 110. My 60' is hurting me at 1.84 and all 4 were spinning a little off the line.

This winter I want to go with a different set up so I probably wont mess with the second kit until then.
