Default 1999 gmc sierra 5.3 truck norris cam nitrous tuned

I have a 1999 gmc sierra with 5.3 with btr truck norris cam and it is tuned for a wet 50 shot of nitrous but the kit i bought has the lowest shot of 75hp and i was wondering if it would need more timing pulled or would it be good? Havent tested it out gonna also use ngk tr6 spark plugs. Any ideas?

It really depends on how aggressive the 50 shot tune is.
without seeing the tune its unknown.

I've run a 100 shot without pulling time (27* total degrees) but you can't go buy any arbitrary number because you already could be close to knock. I'm pulling 4* on my 150 shot. I wouldn't run the TR6 projected tip plug it may cause knock. If you want that heat range run the BR6EF from NGK. I'm running the BR7EF a step colder with no idle or fouling issues.

TR6 is good for about 150 shot if timing is sane and your running 93.
Anything more and i would run a BR7EF to keep it safe.

Why not a lingenfelter timing retard box so you can pull timing for the nitrous. And leave the N/A tune in there?

So off the spray you're not running optimal timing?
