16 Nozzles, 4 Rails, Tons of Fun
#1
So the mad scientists in the back are at it again. A dual nozzle L92 Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake with 4 rails will definitely get you moving! Some serious machine work goes into a project like this to get everything set up the right way. To properly get those nozzles placed correctly we had to machine off the original fuel rail mounting pads so that the second set of nozzles could be placed. Taking the original mounting spots off the intake meant that we had to come up with a mounting solution for the fuel rails. This is where we had the spacers cut on the lathe and make custom mounting brackets for the fuel rail. The intake was drilled and tapped to accept the spacers and bolts on the intake plenum. Voila the fuel rails are mounted just as solid as they were originally intended.
Now that the 16 nozzles are mounted and the fuel rails in place we can move onto the fun part, plumbing the 4 rails and 16 nozzles. This system will be capable for up to 800 hp per stage.
Here you can see the stock intake before machine work. Note the mounting pads for the fuel rails on the outside runners.

Here is the machine work after taking the fuel rail mounting pads off the intake.

Here are the photos of the nozzles placed in the intake. The guys in the back are hard at work right now starting the plumbing and rail mounting so stay tuned to see the progress on this intake.

Looks great your manifold setups always come out awesome! I have seen plenty of your shops work at my buddy Franks at Unlimited Performance here in Corpus. Stuff looks even cleaner in person.
