Default 150 shot problem

i had a race yesturday against a corvette and i usually just use a 100 shot but i have used 150 b4, this time 150 shot didnt work i have a zex kit and i was thinking maybe it didnt had enough fuel pressure thats why it was just missing, i think nitrous shut down cuz it was acting WAYYY to rich, motor almost wanted to die, then i checked nitrous jets, all good, then i switch back to 100 shot and truck worked fine again :s what can i do to fix this problem?

thank you

The 150 jets may be jetted rich , do you have a wideband?

You can read the plugs after spraying to see if its rich, then you can get a smaller fuel jet or bigger nitrous jet to compensate.

A wideband really helps to see what its doin on the juice.

Bad fuel pump or too much nitrous will both make it LEAN

get rid of that zex crap and get a wideband! that thing shutting off a nitrous solenoid sending just fuel will create just as much damage as it going lean!

if you have a wideband you can watch exactly what is going on not its all good then all at once nitrous is shut off.

yes i have the zex box, bought it before knowing whats good and whats not...

lets just say the motor was running just fine and when i hit the nitrous it was just acting like it was way to rich and when i turn the nitrous off it was all normal again, tried it like 4 times, then i hit the nitrous going like 40 miles and it worked but acting like the bottle was getting empty and then got juice again

i would say its bad nitrous but a 100 shot works great

:s

just changing pills won't affect anything unless you possibly had them reversed? I doubt thats the case though. Bottle pressure? I've seen the zex box not even open with more than 1000psi. What you're describing is definitely getting too much fuel

sure the jets are not backwards? I know its a dumb question but iv made mistakes before too. That would cause it too be way rich.
