Actually you can check mine or a few other guys posts and see that your statement is far from the truth.

I have ran in Edinburg with 2 of my trucks and they both ran quicker in Washington. My 99 ecsb ran a 14.99 in WA then a 15.39 in Edinburg 2 months later. My SS ran a 14.02 here in WA then a 14.39 in Edinburg the same year then came back to WA and ran a 13.86.

Back when Joejoe was running a 12.3X here in WA he ran a 12.57 in Edinburg.

Whoopassracer went 12.79 in WA and I believe his best time after adding the GT2-3 cam in Edinburg is a 13.2X.

There are another 2 or 3 trucks that have had the same results as me. I can only think of one of my buddies that went 14.89 in Edinburg and that exact same 14.89 here in WA.

Claiming Edinburg Track is the one of the fastest or if not the fastest is the biggest pile of **** I have ever heard. I have many customers who run their trucks at EIRT and at HRP and they always hit .1-.2 faster at HRP.

are you serious man??? take a trip to EIRT one of these days and you'll just laugh... It's probably the worst track you will ever go to in your life... Let's take BlueCajun for example (no harm intended), his best time is a 12.4x, the chances of him running that time on a "good night" over here is very very very slim because of the bad prepping and condition of the track. .Actually since I ran with no shocks the last time I went, I found out that 3/4 down the track there is a bump too cus my truck bounced and hit the frame a couple times... So you call that a good track??? hahahahah!! good one man!!

a good % of ur statement is true. yes we jus might b in one of the best places for a track to be but in no way does that mean that we also have one of the best tracks. Track prep down here goes by the event we're having. If its a regular race day track prep sucks but if something big is going on track is at its best, and RGV boys will vouch for that. (remember the SOUTH TEXAS RACING vs "LAREDO BOYS")

I have a theory about this...

Because he is on a bolt on 5 cylinder w/4L60E and stock stall, the truck is a bit lacking in the torque department to get off the line with.

But when hit with the 100 shot, the truck comes off the line very well because of the extra torque. I think he picked up .5 in his 60 ft alone. Given that then you can see how the combination of the launch and 100 shot could provide the great reduction in 1/4 mile time.

Wow didn't even know this thread was here about my truck. Yes that is my truck and like I said in the other forum my truck's best N/A time was a 14.4 with a 2.1 60" but remember this was with the nitrou's tune and 2 degree colder plugs. If you think about it I can probably go low 14's with just the normal plugs and my street tune. Honest awnser do you actually think that my little 5 cylinder can hold a 150 shot. Before you go off and start saying maybe it's a 125 shot I got me a TNT F2 kit which the jetting only goes by 100, 150, 200, 250, and so on.

I think its very possible. buddy of mine has VR6 VW GTI . before he did the turbo he was just on the spray. ran a mid to low 16 N/A on a 75 shot ran consistent low 14's his race weight is like 2900 lbs. so I think you truck on 100 shot should drop 2 sec. no problem.

Quick Reply: 14.4 to 12.4 with a 100 shot????
