I've run hundreds of pounds of nitrous through my truck over the past 4 years and have towed my enclosed race car trailer to the track with it countless times too. I've hit it with a 200hp shot straight out f the hole lots of times and it flat out hauls ***. It's still my daily driver. I use it now as a work truck to pick up parts for my machinery and such. I have 29000 miles on it without a problem. I've heard stories about the 6L80 being weak, but that's BS in my view. GM hasn't made a transmission any tougher than this IMHO. The only problem I have with using Nitrous is that it doesn't last long enough. That's why I'm thinking of putting a whipple on it now.

You shouldn't have a problem with hitting the truck with nitrous.

What kinda kits are you guys spraying your trucks with? I'm new to the Nitrous game, but i was looking at a 90mm plate kit for my 6.2l 100 shot. Also what do you guys think of the NX proton kits? The seem alright for the price? Any recommended kits for a beginner?
