There are alot of factors that can affect Wheel Horse Power.

Including the Dyno and how its set up.

The 2000 Year model was rated at 285 or so they say. I recall it being closer to 300 Hp at the Flywheel.

At 120K on the clock I dyno tested mine bone stock. I don't recall if it had the paper filter or a K&N Replacement filter in the stock box.
I was getting ready to do cam and heads at the time. When I got the Bright Idea to build a new replacement motor that I could just swap out.

Mine put a solid 240 Hp to the wheels on a Mustang Dyno at near Sea Level. At 300 Flywheel horsepower that's exactly a 20% parasitic loss.

Same bone stock setup On a Dyno Jet put 250 to the wheels under similar conditions. I always thought that was a little high.
