I picked up an 86 Monte Carlo SS a couple weeks ago This will be my first venture into the LSx world. I'm here because I'm planning on getting a 5.3/ 4L80E combo. I'm hoping I can get that going by Fall so that this Winter I can work on either a single or twin turbo setup for it. It's gonna be a while before it is what I want it to be, since it was very bare when I picked it up.

My previous project was a 2004 Grand Prix GT2. it is currenly being demodded so it can be sold. I've had my share of fun building it with a topswap, xp cam, headers, nitrous, and applicable supporting mods. As much fun as it was, I want something that can go faster than I could in it.

I also have a 2005 Grand Prix Base model that I daily drive. No current plans for modding. This is my 5th late model GP.



I'm hoping to trade both GPs in on a Silverado sometime in the near future.
