Thumbs up throttle body decision for a chevy 5.3

New comer , Need help on making a decision wich throttle body will be good on a 06 chevy silverado 5.3 I 90 between 102 around that somethin like that , and a decision for dual flow master or single wanting get the best hp. Opinion. Will help . Thanks alot

The chevy still stock just starting on tuning it up, your assistance will help , good draft on the team by the way needed the def. And a cb.

Unless you swap out the intake manifold neither of those throttles will bolt on.

On a stock motor niether is needed.

What are the plans for the truck?

I don't even see a need to upgrade the stock manifold unless you going to be some serious power adder.

Just swapping intake isn't a very smart or sound way to try and increase hp on a stock engine.

Start with a cam and exhaust or just jump into a turbo build.

Why is that not a good idea to upgrade the intake man and upgrade the tb 2 a 102m will that cause problems.along with the cam and dual exhaust.

you will spend $1800 on an intake and TB which will get you 30hp or so.. 5.3 and stock heads dont really respond well to intake mods..

or you can spend $300 on a used cam and get 50hp

LS engines like exhaust mods, cams, and BOOST.

Thanks for the advice whats a great exhaust and cam , whats recommend single or dual exhaust with what boost. Trying to have this installed by end of the week.
