Hello all, glad to be on here. I am looking to do a 5.3 in my 99 silverado that has a retired 4.3. The 99 has four plugs on the PCM and the 5.3 will have two plugs. Any ideas how to go about this. Yes, a v8 truth is cheaper if I traders up but the blown 4.3 truck doesn't trade well.

 

Is this a new body style or the older body style like the 1998?

 

All you need is a 5.3, 4L60E, wiring harness, and PCM with a Tune. If its the 1999-2002 style truck.
