I HAVE A 05 SILVERADO CREWCAB THAT I WOULD LIKE TO LOWER DOWN.I AM THINKING OF MAYBE A 3/6 OR 4/6 SPINDLE/SPRING AND FLIP KIT. I AM TRYING TO DECIDE WHAT TO GO WITH.I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO USE A 18 OR 20" WHEEL WITH A TIRE THAT ISNT TO LOW PROFILE THAT MAY SACRAFICE THE RIDE.I HOPE THESE QUESTIONS ARENT TO SILLY.I AM NEW AT THE FORUM.THANKS

4-6 is low on a NBS truck but will look great on a crewcab.....go with McGaughy's lowering parts http://www.mcgaughys.com/

Thanks For The Info.i Am Having Problems Being Able To Talk To Anyone Thats Can Give Me Good Input.i Have Dropped A 91&94 Gmc With A Belltech 4/6drop.i Was Happy With It.this O5 Is A New Beast For Me So I Will Be Asking Alot Of Questions.i Am Also Trying To Decide On 18 Or 20" Wheels.i Also Like The Joe Gibbs Bumper Facsia And Grill.my Truck Is Black So It Should Look Ok.thanks Again.

what is up man. i belive the drop you pick depends on the bumper set up and area you live in. i live in tx and there are a lot of places you would scrap with a 4/6 but since you have already have a 4/6 i would go with that. as for the wheels i would go with 22's everyone and there dog has 20' but between 18's and 20' the 20's will look better. the joe gibbs facsia i nice i like the way it looks. go for it. have fun at the site people here are nice and will help you in any way they can.

yeah 4/6 with 20's would look great......if you could afford it i'd go with air bags.......that's what i'm gonna do when i get 5k saved up......layin 'er out....oh yeah

Thanks.i Live In Florida So The Roads Are Pretty Good.i Havent Got The Kit Yet But I Will Have A Little Later.i Did Think About The Bumper Cover.it Looks Like It May Be A Little Closer To The Ground Than Factory.this Thing Was Also Designed In A Wind Tunnel,which Is Another Reason I Wanted To Go With It.i Talked To Sve America Who Is The Oem Supplyer To The Factory.i Didnt Now That They Also Make The Body Kit For The S-10 Xtreme,montecarlo Etc.so It Should Fit Like Factory.who Makes A Good Roll Pan.i Am Going To The Turkey Run In Daytona In November So Hopefully I Will Get Some Good Picts And Ideas.thanks For The Welcome To The Site.

Thanks For The Welcome.this Forum Is Great.your Ride Looks Sweet.mine Is Stock Minus The Trim.i Did Add A Bed Cover.the Joe Gibbs Facia And Grill Is Next.i Am Also Going To Smooth The Talegate.then I Will Lower It.i Know The Mcgaughys Kit Is Supposed To Be The Best For This Truck .has Any Of You Used Their Kit?
