Stubborn Texas Boy

Im new to the forums. Ive spent a little time on the ls1trucks website and had seen alot of referrals to this website so I decided to join. Im currently in Iraq for the next 8 days, on my way to the house after a long deployment. I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic RCSB with a 4.3 Liter V6. Immediately upon my return home, Im having an intercooler and STS system bolted on the vehicle. The only mods that have been currently done is a flowmaster muffler and turn downs. Once I fling parts on the V6, Ill probably purchase a fresh block and have Katech Engineering bore it to a 5.0 and bulletproof the bottom end. Im a strong believer that I can squeeze 400+ horsepower out of the little motor and run the Full Size around 11-12 second 1/4 mi. times. Ill post pictures as soon as I get home and keep everyone updated.

Welcome to PT.net!
Sounds like you have a plan in mind. You might want to read a bit on here as time allows you, you might change your ideas up to a larger bore. Thanks for your service and be safe!

Im just wanting to have the enjoyment of V8 power with a V6. This could stir up non-believers Oh and its not about the money...I just want to see the faces of the people I beat when they look under the hood and only see 6 cylinders.
