Sup everyone?
My name's Steven and i'm the proud owner of a 2001 Chevy Silverado. Does anybody know how hard it is to find a single cab, short bed V8??? I got 'er December of '07 and she's treated me right ever since.

Her previous owner was not so kind to her unfortunately...The passenger side of the bed has been dinged on the lower right rear end and the front right portion of the top has been caved in a bit due to them dropping a tool box on it.

Plus they smoked in it.

And broke the center console/jumpseat so the console portion of it won't open.

I've drag raced with her at Scion Drag 'N Brag here at the Texas Motor Speedway; and for a next to stock truck, did pretty freakin' well. I lost to a Duramax Diesel, but i was right on his bumper the entire way down the track.

I'm looking to eventually turn her into a sleeper with the heart of a 'Vette. We'll see what happens after i get done at UTI.

So do you live in Houston or DFW? I know UTI is down in Houston.

Do you know Royce? He drives an 03 RCSB chevy

 

D/FW at the moment. I'll be moving down to Houston Jan. 2. Can't say that i do know him...Actually, i may, does it have a 5.3 in it and AR Torque-Thrusts?

Nah I thought you were already down at UTI. He'll probably be graduated by the time you go down there, or close to it.

Where at in DFW? I'm from Arlington, but I'm up in Denton for school right now.
