The turbo was a borg warner s400 with the 82mm compressor and 96mm turbine. The 5" stuff was way overkill and 4" would have been more than adequate. It was really an expensive experiment to see if it was worth any power over the 4", which it wasn't. A 5" exhaust is earth-shakingly deep sounding though haha

If you have any sound clips of the 5" setup i would love to hear it.. I can't even imagine how loud that thing was. I have a single 3" on my truck and it sounds like a nascar if I have that thing open.

Budakane thanks for the welcome.

Well its not easy to capture on camera because the frequency is very low, and any time under power the sound of the turbo is basically louder than the exhaust. I will say with it idling in the driveway you could feel it on the far corner of my house inside.

Heres a track run outside and inside with a 5" fender dump,

Heres a lazy 1/4 run when I melted a chamber, pretty sure the cutout is open

Heres a dyno run, cutout open, youll see what I mean about the turbo being louder than the exhaust

Budakane, We are not currently looking to sponsor out but we have been known to give away some free cutouts every once in a while.. I believe we are currently giving a new cutout away on our facebook page.. We are looking for 100 likes and then a person will be drawn at random..

Atomic - That run was impressive (especially one handed)

And your right that turbo is loud. Thanks for sharing the pictures and videos. Would you mind if we used them on our website?

Not at all, have at it!

I asked in the other thread you made, but this seems like a good spot as well, what is the difference between your patriot cutouts and the normal ones? I would like to, at some point, do dual 3.5" cutouts off the header collectors on my blower build so im not sure which model line would be better suited for that.

The patriot series is more of our economy cutout, and it is only offered in 2.5" and 3".
We will still continue manufacturing our other style cutout.

For some reason i havent been getting notifications from the other thread. I will look into it.
