Question Powder Coating Kits

Hey my name is Adrian and I'm new. I wanted to ask a question about kits that are powder coated. In the future I am looking to lifting a truck whether it's the one I have one or my future truck. But I see trucks with lift kits that their parts are in different colors. Now this might sound pretty dumb and straight forward but just wanted to check. When I buy the lift kit do I have to buy the kit first and then take it somewhere to get it powder coated so I can then get it installed or how does that work? If so is there different ways to powder coat? I just wanna know for future to know what ima need to do im only 22 and just starting do all this stuff and wanna do it nicely since I'm still in school and have to work and dont wanna waste money like I'm rich lol sorry if it just sounds dumb 😅

I don’t run lifted trucks (not my thing) lol but from what my buddies have done is buy the parts then take them down to powder coating shop and have them powder coated..

also when you swap out to way bigger tires keep in mind that your power train will suffer from them , so your gonna have to think about upping the performance for it or you’ll be unhappy on how it acts , also sway bars are your friend lol..

a lot of guys that swap out to big tires and lift kits end up doing a gear swap , and performance parts also find a reputable tuner that you trust your definitely gonna need one ..hope this helps and good luck with your future build ,and welcome to the site
