One more noob.

Hi all. Just traded my red 98 standard cab/6' bed 5.0/5MT Chevy truck for a white 04 standard cab/6' bed 4.8/5MT . It has power everything except power seats, leather and save for some pretty decent looking 20" wheels it already had on it and a Flowmaster, it is stock. My plan is to add a few performance mods nothing too crazy and have it remain a useful truck. I really like the Flowmaster that is currently on it. Possibly do some LT's and a tune as well as a CAI and probably just go with that. Already have a 2010 V6 Camaro with IPF SC, SW LT's ARK DT-S exhaust, ported IM, TB, spacer, upgraded SS Brembo's, Pfadt sways and bushings, BC Racing Coil-overs yada, yada, yada. I like different stuff, what can I say? Finding a 4.8/5MT was no small task. I felt like I was looking for a unicorn.
I'd like to possibly add an SS front bumper, RST style roll pan with hidden receiver hitch and some striping similar to what the RST's came with. Mainly just looking to learn more about my truck

Thanks for the tip. Let's see if this works.
My 98 5.0/5MT which I liked, but it was just time for a change...and power windows LOL

Here is my truck as I bought it. Not a huge fan of the chrome wheel-well trim. Hope I'm not offending anybody they're just not my thing.

My first mod I guess you can say was the removal of the chrome trim. Thankfully there was no serious discoloration, marks or rust underneath them.

Lots of dirt though which cleaned up nicely and clay-bar'd the hard to remove stuff. Here's the result:

The SC install will be performed by Mike White from Whiteside Customs in McKinney, TX . Dropping off the truck Feb 2 and picking it up the following Friday Feb 8th. Can't wait.

No I do not. I live in MO. I'm having Mike White of Whiteside Customs do my TVS1900 install and HE's in McKinney. I have a gig there on the 2nd and am taking my truck down there and dropping it off. From there I head to AZ for a few days and then on my way back through Dallas I'lll pick it up.
