Nuther new guy

I guess this is the forum to introduce ourselves, anyways name is Shawn and I'm a farmboy from western South Dakota. Almost 20 yrs. old, finishing up school for collision repair technology, work at home on the farm/ranch and also part time in a body shop in town. I'm also an active member from Chevy Truck World, wouldn't surprise me to see a couple here from there.
I got myself a 2001 Silverado 1500 Z71 with a 5.3 automatic and is under 100,000 miles. Its my first ever vehicle and have had it for a little over 2 years now. Performance wise I got a few things...PCM tune from Charlie Wheatley, short tube headers, true dual exhaust with no cats, and a K&N drop in air filter. Outside I have many other things such as 16x8 MB Wheels and 265 rubber, very dark windows, Tahoe grille, few painted/color matched parts, and lots of chrome and stainless. Inside...I have a fully painted interior with a smoothed out dash and other smooth, painted trim pieces, seat covers, JL and JVC audio system. Thats some of the major things on my pickup I guess.
I have drag raced my pickup once, this last summer. Was able to get a time of around 10.5, 10.6 on an 1/8 mi. track...nothing to brag about but it was a lot of fun for the first time ever.
Seems like a great site and hope to make some new friends and get a lot of advice and input on performance, mechanical, and other things. Looks like theres a lot of knowledgeable members on here. So here I am!
Few pics of my pickup...

The switches were for lights...just regular switches but with long extensions made for a Peterbilt semi. They ran my interior lights and underbody lights.
The inside is all tore apart currently, I did some major modding in the backseat and have something now that isn't seen too often. I'll show it off once its all done and painted too. But that, and many other parts like the console, visors, a pilllars, etc are being painted or repainted.
