My truck is rare-ish up here in Canada. No one believes me when I say its a 5 speed with a 4300 Vortec. Nor I want them to because its an embarrassing combo. But I'm here to find out if I can get some advice to make it a little better.
The truck is a 2000 Silverado with the 262ci in it married to a 2WD NV3500 5 speed. Its a standard cab long box with a giant cap on it and it makes for an awesome weekend home.
My goal one day soon is to carry on with my crap tranny and replace it with something that has a little more character and durability.
