NOOB from Chicago....Looking for Diesel Power in a Wrangler
#1
First off the smilies at this place are amazing, I'm going to have to steal some of these for my personel collection.
I have a 97 TJ wrangler with a 4.0L I6..... It really seems to offer plenty of power for me now, but I WANT MORE!.... I plan to upgrade to atleast 33" tires if not 35" along with stronger real axle and a new T-case(mine is screwed)..... And what I really want to do is swap in a Cummins 4BT..... I have heard this is a very heavy engine and there is alot of work I am going to need to do but that is why I have come here so I can start learning and then get my hand dirty with a truely worthwhile swap....
I will do my best to act like a respectful noob and I hope I can get alot of good knowlede from people who know alot more about engines than I do
I might as well toss in a pic of my baby, as stock as the market...
