Talking Newbie strokin it

hey guys im tom and I got an addiction. (its SPEED)
I know most everyone out there is gonna tell me im doing things bacwards but im in the process of building a 408 stroker before I get the truck. i know i know not usually the way to do it but the way all the new chevs are
interchangable for the most part it gives me time to find just the right lucky truck to put the beast into. I know that the 408 is a fairly "common" stroker for the silverado but its not up here in minnesota. especially one with a new radix on it and a healthy mist of the giggle gas. I havent gotten too far into
it yet but so far im getting the block work done and starting to get a few
go fast goodies rounded up to start puttin it together. im a pretty easy going and am always interested in peoples opinions on my projects so bring em on guys

Hey Tom welcome to PT.net...if you are expecting this to be a recovery group you are in the wrong place we are all deep into our addiction here

So a force fed 408? Radix? Like a 122? Or are you thinking of the R2300 TVS unit?

Welcome!! Nothing backwards about building a motor prior to having a vehicle. That's just planning ahead
