Default Newb from Tulsa

Been viewing for a while, finally decided to join. Looking for a good tuning shop in the area and debating a turbo build or a 6.0 swap.

Welcome sorry I'm not from tulsa but saw you wanted to do a trans swap in another thread. I've got a 05 5 speed and I hate the nv3500 its such junk. Just wondering what trans you wanted to go with. I am pretty much convinced of a ZF6

The thing with a zf is I think you have to do a 2 inch body lift, with you having a 4x4 that might not be a big deal. I'm dropping mine, so lifting the body is counterproductive....lol I was looking at the t-56 but the cost to build one for my power goals, top mount shift kit, 4:56 rear gears, would be too much coin. So I'm leaning towards the nv4500, it's a direct swap and can be found for >750....will it hold together? Not sure but there's a few trucks pushing over 450 and running them. Plus they make a short shift kit for it.
