I've been a member on FSC for probably 7 years and GMT400 since it started. They are both about dead now. I've got a lightly modified '94 GMC, a SBC powered Scrambler, and a J10 in pieces. The GMC dynoed 130/200 a couple of years ago, its a V6.
This is one of my Jeeps. It's a 1982 and its forever a work in progress. It's lifted about 5 inches, has 33x13.50 LTBs, and a Chevy 305. The engine is stock except headers, Edelbrock EPS, and a Holley 600. This picture is from a few years ago at a race. It's currently got a blow brake line so its just sitting in my yard. Id like to eventually switch the engine for something better to get more competitive, but the 305 is fun enough for now. I do have another Jeep, its a J10.

It's a 1994 5 lug truck. It has a 4.3L, auto, and 3.42 gears. The truck has 230,000 miles and its internally stock. It has a TBI spacer, pod spacer, ported throttle body, Hypertech base, V8 air cleaner, K&N filter, Jegs tube , dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40s, timing is bumped 4 degrees, and I've got a set of Edelbrock headers that I still haven't put on. Without the throttle body being ported and the timing advanced it put down 130 hp and 200 foot pounds. By looking at the numbers it probably makes more torque because the peak was at the start of the runs. I know the numbers aren't high but at the time it had 210,000 miles and its a stock TBI truck. I used to want to build up the 4.3L, there was actually a major aftermarket for these things thanks to NASCAR and a few other organizations. But I've decided to stop kidding myself. It's not a good design with the even fire crank. GM took shortcuts to produce these engines and a 90 degree V6 wasn't a good design. It's got to have a weird crank to fire at 120 degrees and balance shafts to be smooth. The older ones don't have these and the odd fire crank is much stronger, but then you purposefully have a vibration. Right now money is tight so its not getting anything. I'd like to swap in a 500 Cadillac or maybe a 408 LS. It's a truck though and it gets worked sometimes. I've hauled around 2 tons in the truck before, usually keep it around a ton though. I've flat towed a lot with a strap but I've only ever pulled a trailer twice and probably won't do that again. The roads here aren't easy on a V6 truck with 5000 or so pounds attached, although it did it still.
