Default New to trucks from tn

Hello, I'm Dave and I just bought an 04 Silverado as a toy/daily.

I have a Hellcat with 930 rwhp and don't really want to drive it everyday anymore. I came here because I sleep creating that it's the best place for information. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum Dave, how much do you want to spend to make the truck faster than the car?

I don't really have a budget. I mainly just have a goal. I'd like two get enough power so that I can drive it on the highway at 70 to 75 miles an hour with 37's and not have the engine at 3,500 RPM. I'd assume I need 450 horsepower give or take.

It has a 4in suspension and 3 inch body lift, so there's room for the tires, just right now the truck doesn't have enough power to turn them.

I was looking at a turbo kit from on3 or rmperformance but as I'm new to trucks, I'm also new to Turbo. It appears that a lot of folks put them on their trucks as it's a relatively inexpensive way to make decent power. I don't want a thousand horsepower, just want a dependable truck

I was thinking about building a motor. With the gears, would it still be drivable at highway speeds?

Or would I need to swap the trans as well?

With 37s I would do 4.88s and it should drive about like stock.
