New to trucking and this forum
Hey guys I signed up a long time ago and I'm just logging in checking things out. Badass trucks ! I'm looking to build a truck and I need some guidance on what to buy. I drag race and play on the street and was thinking about buying a 4wd 5.3 truck, dropping it and later on a single turbo and 4l80 conversion. What are your thoughts on a 4wd drag truck? I am not new to drag racing. I have owned, lightning trucks, Grand nationals, mustangs and 2 C6 corvettes. I am totally new to Chevy/GMC and the thought of a 4wd race truck. Thanks for any feedback, suggestions

Welcome! I know with diesels a lot of guys have 4x4s and do 4wd launches regularly. Just make sure you have tie rod sleeves or aftermarket tie rods, stockers tend to flex and snap under big power levels in 4wd. You don't want this to happen... http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...s/100_0367.jpg
This sounds like an interesting build!
