new from st. louis (the non ghetto part)

What's up everyone, I'm Nick. I've got a 99 Sierra scsb. Currently running factory 4.3 w/ 300,000 miles. Building a mild 5.3 and taking care of body work. Definitely a work in progress but will be good in the end. Any help with a good cam for a dd, and other suggestions would be appreciated.

I have looked at gmpp asa cam, comp low lift, btr and so on. I'm looking for a choppy idle w/o compromising a good power/torque curve from low to high rpm. I plan on doing springs and either s tb torque converter or circle d.

They are all nice choices, another cam to look at if you want a choppy idle, look into the Comp Cam Thump'r line...... They are specifically ground to maximize that rumpity rump sound at idle
