new rcsb
hello all, i've been around the forums for a few days now and figured i would introduce myself finally. i just bought a 2003 silverado rcsb 2wd 5.3L about 9 months ago and just now started doing some work to it. i was saving for a motorcycle but decided that the truck was stock for too long. so last week i got a cai and custom catback exhaust for the truck. i ordered a vinci handheld tuner for it til i can find a good shop here that can do a custom tune. if anyone in albuquerque, nm or close to there knows of such a place let me know. otherwise i may have to drive to texas to have it done lol.
time slip before cai and exhaust
times after cai and exhaust no tune yet
i know its not all that fast but i just got started and the track is on top of a mountian lol

We're twins!!
I would say the elevation is not helping and I'm sure the temps were not favorable either.
Looks like a great start though. What did you pay for your truck if you don't mind me asking?? And what are your plans??

paid 17k for it with 44k miles on it. not gonna do much more to it til its paid off. just wanted a little more pep from it. once its paid off i'll have decided what i want to do. right now i have many ideas just not sure which route i wanna go. for now its gonna stay stock motor and tranny. prolly gonna put a different hood and wheels on it in the near future but til its paid off that'll be it unless something breaks.
