Last weekend I bought an `05 Avalanche 2500 it has the 8.1L and 4:10 rear gear. Looking to maximize this truck, so I'll be hanging out researching, posting questions and pic's of my mod's.

I bet that thing feels torquey!!

A tune on them makes a big difference.

Now does that one have a 4L80E or Allison?

Yes, lots o torque. I'm interested in a tune, but most say you have to get a tune that deals with GM's torque management, so I think the pocket tuners are out. And it has the 4L80E.
