New from NE Florida
I've got a 91' Silverado Z71, with a 350 crate (Previous owner installed). I am unsure of the hp but am hoping to find a dyno soon before I start messin with it.
Right now the only thing done to the truck is dual exhaust. I'm not quite sure what I can do to the engine without pulling it, so I was hoping to find that information here.
Edit: What wheels do yall think would look good? The current ones are in pretty bad shape now.

Welcome.....that should have the TBI motor, If so your kinda limited on the hp u can get unless u replace the intake & TBI assembly w/ a 4 barrel unit, then cam and heads & exhaust, But if u want some real power pull the motor and install a LSX motor, Harness & ECM, Then u can make somthing happen....

Yeah it's TBI. I'm not very smart when it comes to cars and trucks but am trying to learn some more.
Unfortunately it's not quite as nice as it was in that picture. It's about 2 years older now. Got a few chips in the paint and the clear coat came off the front bug guard. Once I get everything under the hood in good shape I'll be fixing the exterior. I work at walmart so I've got quite a few large dings in the trim. The wheels are also pretty scratched up. I hope to have it RESTORED by 2012.
The truck has great power in the bottom end but it falls on it's face around 40.
Right now my plans are to get everything cleaned up, add a leveling kit, and eventually upgrade the trans and add a supercharger. And whatever else I might need.
I need some opinions now, is the Hypertech Power Charger worth the $40? And would a HOT CHIP be worth the price?
