Hello!
Looking for towing power on my 2011 2500 6.0 with 3.73 gears. I have not pulled with this yet, but the camper is a bit over what the manual says this is rated for. I am wondering how much a tuner would help? Thanks!

A tuner couldn't add strength to parts that assist in towing a camper.

It can help in the way the truck acts to pulling a trailer or doing anything for that matter. Factory, they tend to be lead sleds until tuned. Our older shop truck at work has a 6.0 and it's completely gutless and nothing but a pig because it's stock.

Getting it tuned would be a big plus! Stay away from the Hypertech style boxes though. They are a complete waist of time and money.. Ask me how I know?!?.... Mild cam from EPS and LT headers would be next on my short list... Do you have bigger tires or stock?? Bigger = more gear.. 4.10's and maybe 4.56's if you go big... Thats my two cents..

Thanks, sitting on the stock 20" tires. I would like to try the tuner first, what is the best way to go?
