This is Ralph, from Orlando. I recently got the bug to build my ordered new in January 2017 Silverado RCSB WT 4x4, and dived in head first. Not my first build, but it’s been awhile since I’ve tackled American V8 gas. So, I’ve got some bugs to work out on my build and hoping I can filter through all the info located here and in fellow members heads.
Anyways, truck is modified with some bolt ins/ons that required yanking the engine and tearing it down to the short block, so that I could bolt them in and on to the block. So, I do have to call in reinforcements to complete(ish). DOD/AFM delete, custom cam, new valvetrain, long tubes, new exhaust w/o cats, Whipple 2.9, and some other stuff here and there.
Truck has been fired up and tuned professionally. But still has lots of tuning left to do before I turn up the boost.
So, can’t wait to dive in and educate myself.
